After more dry weather, we're getting the smallest bit of rain, enough to make the bugs happy, I'd guess. The birds are frolicking, too.
The rain started just as the mail came. I had to run out and get it, as Halle's heart medicine was due to arrive. Well, it was due yesterday, but someone in the White House wants to destroy the post office, and everything is late. No more about that, I promise. The medicine was there, warm as could be in its so-called cold pack. I'm hoping the day and a half at room temperature won't ruin it.
The sun is out again.
I'm lying on my new mattress. I'd been saving for it for about a year. The old one was kind of bowl-shaped. I won't miss rolling into the center trough.
