Here's the sunflower I've been pampering for a couple of months. It's about 2" in diameter, not your usual gigantic sunflower. But it fits the container on the deck, so all is well. I'm hoping for rain. We're in a drought, and there haven't been two days in the past month when I haven't needed to water it.
Summer progresses. Actually, this is the time of the season when the weather finally breaks and we get cool nights. Fine by me.
A few hours later...it's raining! It's just sprinkling, but oh, it's lovely to see the leaves glisten. Who knows? Maybe it'll make a dent in the drought.
